Pillow: Sleep Tracker App Reviews

Inaccurate

I didnt realize I had started my alarm, after I got off Instagram and went to the app a saw there was an alarm already running. I ended it and it was like 30% deep sleep and I was like, I was never even sleeping. This app has no way of giving you accurate information unless its connected to you.

Release a product youre proud of

The fact that I had a HORRIBLE night of sleep and it still says 95% sleep quality should tell you something.

Nice App

Good for tracking sleep trends

Okay app!

I think this app is okay, but not completely accurate. I have woken up a few night yo use the restroom and it showed me as sleeping.

OK but not spectacular

As others have said, too many data points, not particularly accurate as far as I can tell.

Dont upgrade

Quite the bait and switch with the in app purchase. I paid up expecting to actually get more information. Turns out my "optimal bedtime" is 2:30am. Yeah ok. Thanks. Going back to Sleep Cycle and Beddit (both free).

Interesting!

I am just getting started using Pillow and I find the results very interesting. Hope to be on the path to better sleep soon!

Awesome

Tracked my sleep perfectly and there were no problems.

Terrible App

The app has a lot of bugs, your Health app will be full, of a list of asleep per minute, the iCloud sometimes doesnt work, despite the premium package I bought. The asleep information is not accurate. I sent a mail to the Customer Service, and I never had an answer.

All mixed up

So it adds a bunch of extra data points that are not accurate. Really wish it would be corrected as I have the paid version and cannot really use it reliably. If I use the watch app to start logging in the morning after I end my sleep with the watch the app on my phone will not actually end when I attempt to close it and I have to close the app in the background and reload it.

Pretty good and lots of Interactivity

I like this app, but what would make it supreme is if you had the capability to take a Nap or Power Nap with just the watch. Any sleep functionality requires the phone to be activated in some manner, yet the watch does most of the heavy lifting calculation and is well suited to play audio and vibrate to wake you up. I hope they can update this to be able to use just the watch as an alarm for shorter sleep sessions. I understand that the watch has to analyze the data it captures throughout the night, but why can’t it just do that automatically once you stop the alarm on the phone. I wanted to rate this a 3-star but to be fair I feel it leans a little closer to 4/5 stars, hope this input and suggestions helps the developers in someway?

Not happy

I used this app 1 night and thought it was really interesting. I wanted some of the other features, so I upgraded to the paid edition. Now, I cant get it to open on my Apple Watch. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck. Please fix this or give me my money back! If fixed I will review again.

Works great with Apple Watch.

Works great with Apple Watch. Pretty cool that sleep staging can be done with actigraphy alone, if thats the case. It would be nice to know what algorithm is being used for sleep staging and how accurate it is. I have not had any unpredictable problems with battery life. It is necessary to make sure that there is at least have a charge before starting a sleep session.

Crashing

The installation process its not completing on the watch.

Good

I think it gives an accurate sleep analysis

Own up

Use it right and it surpasses any sleep tracking app

Like it a lot.

I love the music and sounds to go to sleep and wake up. I really dislike that everytime you start the sleep session it goes to another app it wanted you to use. Please stop that. Ive paid for the app so I shouldnt have to see advertisements every time

Like it, but...

The look of this app is what Im looking for in a sleep tracker. However, I use another app that plays ambient sounds throughout the night to help me stay asleep and as soon as I turn this on, the volume goes super low - deal breaker for me! Fix it and I might change my review.

Almost there

I cant review previous nights sleep records. Overall, really easy to use and surprisingly accurate. I am impressed with its accuracy and flexibility.

Literally the best app as an alarm clock!

Ive had lots of bad experience with the alarms cause sounds and/or songs are too heavy and annoying to me even the one on iPhone; but this one just wakes you up in a very quiet and peaceful 30 minutes way. I had trouble getting up in the mornings but this one helped me to wake up with a smile on my face and feel like this is going to be a very good day. Thanks a lot. Give u 5 star!
